Substance used to numb the self from emotions and feelings which keep the self from looking inward. Alcohol may indicate the need to work on spiritual growth, such as meditation, affirmations, and other higher spiritual awareness practices. You may need to investigate what you are hiding from others. What parts of your life are being ‘drowned out’? What part of your true self are you lying about? Have you been looking for outside ways to obtain expanded levels of awareness instead of looking within?
