A representation of inner issues rather than sexual behaviours. Merging parts of the self that do not match up and do not serve one another sexually. However, these connections or parts of the self are looking for healing, attention or understanding. For example, parent with child, is the need to understand the child within. Male with female is merging and balancing or seeing the lack of balance between the male and female aspects of the self. Same sex is merging and balancing parts of the self that need nurturing.
