If you see someone in need, make sure they’re open to help before jumping in to rescue them. Ask them if there is anything they need. Don’t just assume and take over when someone looks awkward. Walk beside them, encourage them, be their friend by seeing their strengths, and by assuming they’re capable. Sometimes the people in need just need us to see them; to truly see their soul. There may be a hidden wisdom within them that surprises you.
