A beach is a ‘neither here nor there’ place that is part of the fairy realm. It is a no man’s land. No one can control or own the beach as it is owned by the elements. The beach is pulled by energies and represents constant shift and change. It is the in-between place where the consciousness and subconsciousness meet. Water is emotion and so the beach is a place to go to release emotions which are then washed away by the next tide.
