Turn off the lights when they aren’t needed. Walk or ride a bike instead of taking your car short distances. Line-dry your clothes instead of using the dryer. Use less paper. Support local farmers and producers. Buy items that are packaged with less plastic. Reuse cardboard or scrap paper and use the backside of paper. Repurpose things. Collect rainwater and use it to water your indoor plants and outside garden. Use an inexpensive reusable water bottle —preferably glass or BPA free plastic. The possibilities are endless.
